Honey oat blueberry banana bread is a delicious loaf that packs lots of flavor and whole grains! It’s the perfect thing to bake if you’re looking for a sensible snack — a slice of this loaf goes perfectly with a cup of coffee or with a little bit of nut butter on top.

Banana and blueberries give this loaf natural sweetness, while the oats provide a chewy, hearty and delicious texture. Dare I say it’s like a bowl of blueberry oatmeal wrapped into a loaf of bread?! I can’t wait to hear what you think when you make it!

Oats are highly versatile, offering countless possibilities to get more taste and nutrition out of what we eat each day. I absolutely love cooking and baking with oats because they add so much texture to anything that you add them to! Over the past year I’ve really enjoyed exploring the savory side of oats in things like chilis, and savory oatmeal bowls.

Quaker has spent more than 143 years finding modern ways to help people benefit from the taste, versatility and nutrition of whole grain oats.

There’s no one else I trust when it comes to oats, which is why having a canister of Quaker oats is a pantry staple for me and something I recommend for all of my clients to have on hand too. Each variety of Quaker Oats – Instant, Quick, Old Fashioned and Steel Cut – are 100% whole grain, and ounce per ounce, they provide similar amounts of fiber, vitamins and minerals.

  1. Tried this recipe for a family breakfast this week and it was a hit! Paired with scrambled eggs it was the perfect blueberry bread, so filling and delicious. I only had white whole wheat and all purpose flours, so I used 3/4 cup of each in place of the whole wheat pastry flour. The result was great! I did notice your instructions are missing the vanilla extract amount, even though the instructions say to add it. Just FYI. Thanks for the great recipe!

  2. This turned out really well. I used Einkorn in place of the recommended four because that’s what I had available. Very wholesome and delicious!
